MAKE YOUR OWN DRYER SHEETS. Instead of buying dryer sheets, buy a big bottle of fabric softener and pour it into a spray bottle. Each time you put clothes in the dryer, spray softener on a small towel and toss the towel in with the clothes to dry. It works like a dryer sheet. You'll have fresh smelling, soft clothes with no static cling, and the bottle of softener lasts one to two years. Try keeping four or five of the small towels in a container by the dryer so you can reuse them.
STOP A NIGHTTIME COUGH.
Did you know this about Essential
Oils?
The foot soles
can absorb oils - put garlic on your feet and within 20
minutes you can 'taste' it. Some of us have used Vicks Vapor Rub for
years for everything from chapped lips to sore toes and many body parts in
between. To stop
night time coughing in a child (or adult as we found out personally), put
Vicks Vaporub generously on the bottom of the feet at bedtime, then cover
with socks. Even persistent, heavy, deep coughing will stop in about 5
minutes and stay stopped for many, many hours of relief. Works 100% of the
time and is more effective in children than even very strong prescription
cough medicines. In addition it is extremely soothing and comforting and
they will sleep soundly.
